This is the obit given to me by Darrell Mounts who in turn given to him by Carol Claffey Mounts.

Mathias Mounts, a prominent and highly respected citizen of Washington county, died at his residence in North Franklin Township, Feb 28, at 3 p.m. aged 80 years. The deceased had been a patient sufferer for some time from general debility and ailments incident with old age; but he retained an active interest in all his affairs until near the time of his death. He had been a prosperous farmer, had a good home and spent the declining years of his life in comfortable circumstances. Sixty-five years of a busy life were spent on the farm on which he died. For many years he was an active and loyal member of the Liberty M. E. Church in Amwell township and even when his advanced years compelled him to retire from the active ranks, he remained an interested and liberal contributor. On March 18, 1852 hw was married to Asenath Baker , daughter of Joseph Baker, who survives him. Seven children were born to them of whom six are living. Mary E., wife of Jacob Bumgardner, Sophia, wife of Jesse McCaffee, Joseph, Anna Hollace, and Martha. Mr. Mounts was a member of one the oldest families in Western Pennsylvania, his ancestors coming to this part of the state from Maryland in 1785. He will be buried in the Washington Cemetery where the bodies of his father and mother repose in their last earthly sleep.
