Clark Loman Dies, Funeral Thursday
Clark Loman, 84, a former resident of Sesser and Whittington, died at 6 a.m. Sunday in Chicago Heights where he had been a resident for about seven years. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Marlow of Waltonville, Wanda Smith, Steger, Jeanette Davis, Stanwood, Mich., Alberta Yates, Sauk Village, Laura Cook, Lemont; two sons, Byford and Cyril Loman, both of Steger; three brothers, Homer, Guy and James, all of Sesser, 22 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Whittington with burial in the Abner Cemetery near Nason. The body will lie in state at the funeral home.
