Guy Loman, 72, Of Sesser, Dies Rites Saturday
Guy Loman, 72, of Sesser, died Thursday morning in Franklin Hospital in Benton. He was a retired painter. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser, where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today. Mr. Loman was bom December 4, 1895 the son of William and America (Brown) Loman. He was married to Velma Davis, who survives. Other survivors Include three sons, Leon Loman of St. Louis, Leo Loman of Granite City and Wayland Loman of Steger, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Velma Lea Severs of Sesser; one brother. Homer Loman of Sesser; nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Mr. Loman was a veteran of World War I.
