Frederick E. Ulery, 62, Covert Rd., RD 2, died in Jameson Memorial Hospital at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, culminating a long illness. Born in Ligonier, Pa., he was a son of Fred E. and Eugenie St. Clair Ulery. He had resided here for 13 years and was formerly employed by the United Engineering and Foundry Co., this city. Mr. Ulery was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Greensburg; the Elks of Apollo, Pa.; Lodge of the Craft No. 433, F & AM; Valley of New Castle Consistory; AASR Syria Shrine, Pittsburgh. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Susan Byrd Ulery; four children, Mrs. Paul Smith, RD 2; Mrs. Clarence Randolph, Monroeville, Pa.; Mrs. William Sloan and Fred E. Ulery, this city; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Steele, Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Lillian Shoemaker, Jeanette; Mrs. Josephen Truxall, Glassport, Pa.; five grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the John R. Hodge Funeral Home, in charge of Dr. Wallace Calvert, pastor of First Methodist Church. Visitation today and tomorrow. [Unknown Source]
