BURLESON - James Douglas Baird, 42, owner of Baird Construction Company, died Tuesday in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

James Baird was born Oct. 2, 1953, in Cortez, Colorado. James was a Master Mason and belonged to Polytechnic Lodge No. 925. He was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family and friends will remember him always.

Survivors: Wife, Jean Baird of Burleson; daughter, Jennifer Baird of Burleson; parents, Everett and Ann Baird of Burleson; brother, Jackie Jarvis of Burleson; sisters, Connie, Barbara, and Penney of Burleson; granddaughter, Lauren Baird of Burleson.
