Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Kutzner were held Friday afternoon from the St. John's Lutheran church of Flannagan, with Rev. Theo S. Meinen officiating. Burial was made in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
Bertha Emilie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Dreger(sic), born October 1, 1876. In April, 1889, she was confirmed at Lockwood, Mo.
She was united in marriage to Charles Kutzner, March 1, 1889. The marriage was performed at Buckley by Pastor Blanken. To this union was born three children, one of whom died in infancy. Mrs. Kutzner died at the St. James hospital at Pontiac Jan. 1, 1929.
She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Gustav and Carl, her husband having preceded her in death in 1919. Four brothers, August Dreger(sic) Osage, Ia.; Paul Dreger(sic), Columbus, Kan.; Gustav Dreger(sic), of Graymont. Fred Dreger(sic), of Hallowell, Kan. One half sister, Mrs. Anna Burton, and four half brothers: Albert Dreger(sic), Andrew Dreger(sic), Christ Dreger(sic), Henry Dreger(sic) and a stepmother, all of Hallowell, Kan.
