Mary Frances Cunningham in the household of her parents, James and Mary (Seal) Cunningham, in Shelby County, Ohio in the 1860 US Census.(1) Mary F. Coykendall, b. Ohio, in the household of her husband, Edward Coykendall in Mill Creek, Bourbon County, Kansas from the 1800 US Census.(2) Mary Coykendall, b. Ohio, in the household of her husband, Edward Coyendall, in Mill Creek, Bourbon County, Kansas from the 1900 US Census.(3) Mary F. Coykendall, b. Ohio, in the household of her husband, Edward Coykendall in Mill Creek, Bourbon County, Kansas from the 1910 US Census.(4) Mary F. Coykendall, born Ohio, in the household of her husband, Edward Coykendall in the 1920 US Census.(5) Additionally, Mary Frances Cunningham Coykendall kept a record book that was in the possession of her great-grandson, James Glenn DeBuse (1942-2018) (findagrave memorial #189063908). Jim was the son of Harry Victor DeBuse (1905-1991) (findagrave memorial # 158173665). Harry Victor DeBuse was the son of Alba Viola Coykendall (1880-1965) (findagrave memorial # 158173788, daughter of Mary Frances Cunningham and Edward Coykendall) and Charles Ernest DeBuse (1862-1943). In her record book, Mary Frances Cunningham Coykendall had written of her parents, "John A. Cunningham and family left Shelby Co. Ohio, June 26, 1867. Took their goods out of the covered wagon at Dayton, Bourbon Co. Kans Sept . 18, 1867." She recorded the birth date and place of her father as "September 18, 1824, Bellbrooke, Greene County, Ohio". Mary's obituary notice for her death and burial was tucked into the record book.
