Died - Aug 25, 1893 at the resident of J. W. Fisk, Pella, Iowa. Henry Charles Fisk, born in City of London, England, Jan 1st 1809. His parents emigrated to America in 1821, located in State of New York, where he worked on his father's farm until he was 27 years of age, after which he came west and settled in what was then called the Territory of Wisconsin, but what is now Jefferson Co, Iowa, where he raised a family of six children, three sons and three daughters, two whom crossed the mystic river before him. In 1858 he moved to Marion Co., Iowa, located six miles north of Pella where his history is well known.
