MAXWELL (MAX) H. ROCKWELL, 73, of 54 Montague St., Canton, died, Sunday, Oct. 5, 1986 in Memorial Hospital, Towanda. Mr. Rockwell was born Oct. 14, 1912 in LeRoy, Bradford County, Pa., a son of Harry and Helen Bunyan Rockwell. He was employed at the Schrader-Bellows International, Canton, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Canton Loyal Order of the Moose No. 429 and the International Order of Aerospace and Machinists. Surviving are his wife, the former Eleanor Davidson,; four sons, Dean of Nakomis, Fla., Jack of Syracuse, Duane of Canton RD 1 and Daryl of Orlando, Fla.; five daughters, Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Pepper of Troy RD 1, Mrs. Raymond (Maxine) Peters of Honeybrook, Pa., Mrs. Dawn Sharp of Allentown and Mrs. Milford (Darla) Carpenter and Mrs. ray (Pamela) Berry, both of Canton; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Myers of Towanda RD 1, Mrs. Edgar (Judy) Schrader and Miss Betty Rockwell, both of Canton RD 1; one brother, Robert Rockwell, Canton; five great-granddaughters; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Rockwell was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Allen in 1971 and Mrs. Daisy Morse in 1976; a brother, Ivor Rockwell in 1978 and a granddaughter, Michele Ann Rockwell in 1980. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Morse-Kleese Funeral Home, 40 N. Center St., Canton, with the Rev. David B. Morris, pastor of the Canton Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) officiating. Interment will be in Christian Church Cemetery, Franklin Township, Bradford County. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be directed to the Canton Ambulance Association in Mr. Rockwell's memory. –Towanda Daily Review.
