Margaret "Maggie" Knowlden Parker, 77, slipped silently into the night with her loved ones by her side. She is now at peace with our Father in Heaven.
Born October 10, 1925 in Lincoln Nebraska to Lloyd Edwin and Alberta Peck Wickham. She was married to Grant R Knowlden for 23 years and later married Richard Parker on February 14,
1999. Margaret and Richard solemnized their marriage in Jordan LDS Temple. Maggie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her family, friends and church. She loved everyone unconditionally and shared her heart and home with all. She remained close to her children, grandchildren and great-grand-children throughout her life.
Survived by her sons, Cory Knowlden , Salt Lake City; Mark and Peggy Knowlden , Tooele; James and Bambi Knowlden , Brian Knowlden , Jerril and Tamera Knowlden , Ralph Knowlden , and daughter Sheri and Steve Tabler, all of Salt Lake City; sisters and brothers Mary, Karen, Nancy, Jim and Ernie. She is preceded in death by son Albert E. Knowlden , and grandsons Robbie Knowlden and Jeremy Lyman. She had 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the Westland 3rd Ward, 7265 S. 2700 W., West Jordan. Friends and family may call Friday, August 29th from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City and one hour prior to services at the Ward on Saturday. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: Valley View Funeral Home.
