Our loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and friend, Carleen Newland , 60, passed away April 15, 1994 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 13, 1933 to Willard S. and Marjorie H. Knowlden Peck in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Robert Virgil Newland in the Salt Lake Temple, October 26, 1953.
She will always be remembered for her smile, kindness, many talents and unselfish acts. She was and active and faithful member of the LDS church, holding many positions.
Preceded in death by her daughter Rebecca. Survived by her parents Willard and Marjorie Peck, her loving husband Robert Newland , and 12 children: Farrell, Moana, Susan, Sherlyn , Shaun, Helen, Ken, Carl, Maureen, Kipp, Patrice and James, 19 grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters, and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 19, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Val Verda Stake Center, 2651 South 500 West Bountiful. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 18, 1994, and Tuesday from 9:45- 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Rd.
