Emily Mae Pore, 96, of Ford Cliff, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, in ACMH Hospital, East Franklin Township.

Born May 7, 1915, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Owen and Della Mae (Cravener) Johnson.

Mrs. Pore retired from Eljer Plumbingware, Ford City in 1977. She enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her son, John M. Pore of Ford Cliff, her grandchildren, Dave Bowser of Kittanning, Don Bowser of Kittanning, Steve Pore of Ford City, Ron Pore of Ford City, Traci Judge of Ford City, and Lynda Pore of Bethel Park; and a brother Paul Johnson of Apollo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Pore; three sons, Dave Bowser, Kenneth Pore, and Oliver Pore; a granddaughter, Cindy Bowser; three brothers, Charles, William, and Owen Johnson; and two sisters, Betty Johnson and Ellen Fahlor.

At Mrs. Pore's request, there will be no public visitation, and services will be held privately. Interment will be made in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin Township. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the WELCH FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Fourth Avenue, Ford City.
