Georgetown - Mrs. Agnes Altman Prevatte, 75, wife of Fred H. Prevatte, died Sunday in a Georgetown hospital. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Rhem's Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be in the Old Antioch Cemetery at Brown's Ferry, directed by Mayer Funeral Home. Mrs. Prevatte was born in Williamsburg County, March 7, 1899, a daughter of the late Jim Zuel Altman and Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Burroughs Altman. She attended Rhem's Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sisters, Mrs. Docia A. Coker and Mrs. Lily A. Nooft, both of Georgetown. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 10 Dec 1974
