Funeral service were held Tuesday afternoon at the Fresieres Funeral Home for Daniel Myers, 70, resident of Morgan County for the past 20 years who died Friday at Eben-Ezer hospital.
Mr. Myers had been confined in the hospital for the past six weeks.
He was born Febr. 4, 1877, in Ambia, Ind. and passed away Aug. 29, 1947, Brush, Co.
Besides his wife, Anna, of Denver, Myers is survived by two sons, Erving R. Myers of Grand Island, Nebr., and Charles D. Myers of Denver, and three daughters, Mrs. Ethel B. Eads of New Raymer, Mrs. Dorothy Lee Allen of Fort Morgan and Mrs. Olive Williams of Gunnison. A sister, Mrs. Olive Maas, of Illinois, and nine grandchildren also survive.
Prior to going to the hospital, Myers had been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Eads.
The Rev. W.R. Burnett officiated. Interment was in the Brush Cemetery.
