Mrs Lona Belle Myers Wells, 9629 Mallison avenue, South Gate, died at her Home Friday, September 23, 1938, at the age of 59, after an illness of two months. Mrs. Wells, a native of Ambis, Indiana, came to California six years ago, and had been a resident of South Gate for the past 3 years.
Survivors are her widower, R. G. Wells; three daughters, Mrs. Romayne L. Hawks, of South Gate, Mrs. Florence L. Kaplan of Minnesota, and Mrs. Edith Noeth of Akron, Ohio; two sons, Harry R. Wells, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Glenn E. Wells, of Akron, Ohio and by one brother, Daniel Myers of Fort Morgan, Colorado.
The remains will be forwarded to Owatonna, Minn., tonight for services and interment, with the Pyle mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Lona Belle Myers Wells was buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery Inglewood, Los Angeles County, California and not in Minnesota.
