Teresa M., wife of Elmer C. Brandenburg, of Wolfsville, this county, died December 24, aged 36 years, 5 months and 15 days. She had been a great sufferer for several years and on Thursday she was taken with pneumonia, which speedily proved fatal. She is survived by her husband and daughter, Bertha, at home. The deceased was a daughter of Joseph F. and Ellen S. Smith, who with the following brothers and sisters, mourn her death: Alvey J. Smith, Mrs. Irving Morgan, Wolfsville; G. Arthur Smith, Smithsburg; F. Luther Smith, Myersville; J. Newton, T. Keller, Faris E., Raymond L., and Luella I., at home. Mrs. Brandenburg was a member of the Lutheran church for many years and a large circle of friends will miss her. The funeral took place on Monday morning with services at the Lutheran church, Wolfsville, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Mr. Stroup. Pallbearers: M. G. U. Hays, Elmer Palmer, Charles E. Delauter, John J. Sensenbaugh, G. O. Horne, C. V. Warrenfeltz.
