Mrs. Mary Marcrum (don't know why her last name was spelled this way). Is the wife of Jonah M. Markham died at their home near Jasper last Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Cause of death was pneumonia. She had only been sick about 48 hours and her condition was not considered serious until Friday at 1 o'clock when she suddenly expired. Mrs Marcrum was 41, and the daughter of Joseph M. and Susan Evans. She was a sister in law of George F. Markham. She was a consistent member of the Baptist Church. She leaves a husband and two children, a son Dan,4 years old and a daughter Tina, barely a year old. She was a good wife and mother and leaves many friends to mourn her untimely death.
