This memorial was initially based on a book that repeated the following 1934 Hale Conn. Cemetery database entry:

• Rockwell, Hannah, widow of Joseph, d. of small pox, Jan. 18, 1701, age 67 yrs.

This listing in Hale immediately follows her husband Joseph Rockwell, who d. of record at Windsor, Conn. Oct. 16, 1746. As reflected below, the original Hale transcription is an error and Hannah died Jan. 18 in the year 1761, not 1701.

Hannah Huntington, dau. of John Huntington and Abigail Lothrop, was b. of record Mar. 25, 1694 at Norwich, Conn. On Nov. 15, 1714 at Windsor, Conn., Hannah m. Joseph Rockwell, Jr., s. of Sgt. Joseph Rockwell and Elizabeth Drake, b. Nov. 23, 1695 at Windsor. They had seven children of record at Windsor: Capt. Joseph 3rd, Hannah (Rockwell) Bidwell, Jerusha (Rockwell) Chapin, an unnamed twin to Jerusha (d.y.), Jonathan, Samuel (d.y.), and Samuel.

Thank you Sara for the confirming gravestone photo.
