CALABASH, N.C. | Lucille A. Malsch, 87, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004 at her home in Brunswick Plantation.

She was born April 20, 1917 in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Alfred and Marjorie Converse Demeusy.

Mrs. Malsch is survived by her husband of 66 years, Arthur E. "Mickey" Malsch; two daughters, Patricia Wish and her husband Lee, of Calabash, and Margery Tabat and her husband Howard, of Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Marie Haney, of San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren, Kevin Wish, Sherri Calcagno, David Tabat, Michael Tabat, Jennifer Economos, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 10 a.m. at Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Father Wilmot Merchant will officiate.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 725 Wellington Avenue, Wilmington, N.C. 28401. Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.
