He was the son of Alfred and V Eugenie P Demeusy. He had a sister, Florence Demeusy Jaeck.

He was the husband of Marjorie Converse Demeusy, and was a Superintendent for Atlas Color Works in Brooklyn, NY. He registered for the draft in WWI. He later became a florist and moved from Brooklyn NY to Oakdale NY in 1928 so as to expand and build greenhouses. He and his wife Marjorie raised their children in Oakdale NY.

Alfred C. Demeusy, 94, of Encinitas, Calif., died October 9. Mr. Demeusy moved from Brooklyn to Oakdale in 1928. He was the owner and operator of the Demeusy Greenhouses which were located on Locust Avenue, Oakdale. In 1955* Mr. Demeusy moved to California. He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie who died October 9,1971, exactly 12 years to the day of the death of Mr. Demeusy.
He is survived by his children, Lucille Malsch and Jack both of Sayville, Marie Haney, Camille Meade and Alfred J., all of California; 12 grandchildren; and 16
great-grandchildren. Services were held in California. Internment was October 13 in Oakland, Calif.
