Was a member of the Oak Mound Congregational Church while growing up, also attending Oak Mound School. She was a charter member of the first Oak Mound 4-H Club in the community (there have been 3) and possibly served as its first president, and was later vice president.
OBITUARY
Anna M. (Turing) Lein was born on August 15, 1921, in Moorhead, MN, to Emil and Olga (Olson) Turing. She graduated from Halstad High School and St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1944. On September 26, 1947, she married Marlyn O. Lein. They lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
She enjoyed her career as a nurse/nurse practitioner at Fargo Clinic and Clay County Health. She enjoyed the time spent at West McDonald Lake with family and friends, and especially her time with her great-grandchildren Kalista and Riley.
Anna died Friday, June 4, 2010, at age 88 in Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Judy (Thomas) Seifert; grandchildren, Heather (Michael) Olson, Brenda (Matt) Bormann and John Seifert; two great-grandchildren, Kalista and Riley Bormann; sister, Ethel Dahl and her nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Stewart Turing.
