From the Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle Obit of wednesday, May 1, 1991, p. 10-A: Mabel Marable Baggett, 93, Regency Park Apartments, died tuesday, April 30, 1991, at Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced by McReynolds-Nave and Larsen Funeral Home. Subsequent obit appearing in the same newspaper on May 2, 1991, p. 10-A: Mabel Marable Baggett, 93-, M-93 Regency Park Apartments, died tuesday, April 30, 1991, at Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. today until the hour of service at McReynolds-Nave and Larsen Funeral Home. She was born in Montgomery County, a daughter of Dr. S.A. Marable
and Elizabeth Jackson Marable. She was the widow of Lee H. Baggett. She was a retired schoolteacher in the Montgomery County school system and a member of the Forest Street United Methodist Church and the Retired Teachers Association. Survivors include a brother, Repps C. Marable, Clarksville, and a sister, Annis M. Powers, Clarksville. Pallbearers will be John Marable, Gray Marable, Corban Stone, Robbie Stone, Sam Balthrop, Shelby Marable Powers and John Garrett. Memorials may be made to Forest Street Methodist Church.
