Fannie was born in Henry County or Clayton County, Georgia. She and her parents were living in Clayton County in 1870. Fannie married Robert Hampton Bottoms in Clayton County, Georgia, on February 3, 1880, afterwards, they moved to Fayette County. There, they became the parents of three children: 2 boys and 1 girl. After her husband died in 1890, she married William Elijah Land on January 1, 1893, in Douglas County, Georgia. They have two children: 1 boy and 1 girl. By 1910, William and Fannie were living in or near Villa Rica in Carroll County, where they remained residents for the rest their lives.
