Ben Nussbaum's Sister Dies in Aledo
Mrs. Anna Mason, 88, of 304 N. College Ave., Aledo, died at 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 1968, at the Mercer County hospital Aledo.
As Anna Nussbaum, she was born at Fairbury Aug. 8, 1880, a daughter of Samuel and Christina Stortz Nussbaum.
Her early life was spent in the Fairbury-Forrest area.
She was married to Cleon M. Mason Sept. 8, 1909 at Eliza in Mercer county. He died Nov. 24, 1941.
Surviving are her son, Marvin, of Aledo, and one brother, Ben, of Fairbury, as well as several nieces and nephews in Fairbury-Forrest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held from the Reiser Funeral home in Aledo at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with burial in Eliza cemetery.
She was a member of the Methodist church.
