Arthur O. Meyers, 86, formerly of Troy, more recently of Dayton, died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, following a lengthy illness.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth[Warner]Meyers, whom he had been married to for 62 years. Other survivors are two sons, Robert and Arthur O. Jr, both of Dayton, a sister Mrs Hettie Karns of Piqua, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was presided in death by a daughter; Margaret Lucille Meyer born 2-8-1917 and she died 8-1-1917.
Arthur was a former member of the German Lutheran Church, Painters Local 249 and was a retired painter and decorator.
