Mrs. Magdalena[Lena]Meyer, 75, former resident of Troy Ohio and mother of Charles Lewis Meyer of this city, died at 2:55 p.m. Monday at her home in Piqua. She had been suffering since last Thanksgiving from uclers of the stomach, and had been bedfast since the last of January.
The decendent was born 28 August 1862 in Brandt Ohio and on 18 September 1885 she married Henry Washington Meyer, who preceded her in death 14 years ago. She resided here until 1927 when she moved to Piqua with her daughter, Mrs. Hettie Karns. There she joined the English Lutheran Church.
Besides her daughter in Piqua and her son here, Mrs Meyer is survived by a son, Arthur of Dayton, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
