IRON COUNTY COURTHOUSE DEATH RECORD #14 for Kenneth Campbell says he died April 23 1885; married; age 37; died in Iron River of consumption; born in New Brunswick; carpenter; names of parents unknown but they reside in New Brunswick. NOTE: age 37 disagrees with headstone information saying born 1850 (= age 35). Will use headstone info.

FRAMES FOR THE FUTURE historical book for Iron River area on page 384 says son Kenneth D. was born 1878 in Ontario and came to Gaastra with his parents Kenneth George Campbell in 1884.

FIRST VOTERS LIST Nov 4 1882 for Iron River Twp names Kenneth Campbell. It was part of Marquette County until 1885 when Iron County was formed.

OBTUARY of Susan Walker 1933 says she married Kenneth Campbell Sr of Carleton County, Canada in 1871. He died at his home in Spring Valley, which is now known as Gaastra.

INFORMATION FROM RELATIVE Carl Nelson Jr ([email protected]) says Kenneth Campbell was an uncle of Charles Kinney. They were originally buried next to each other, but Charles was re-interred in Stambaugh Cemetery.

INFORMATION FROM WAYNE OHLSSON says born June 2 1847 in Little Sippegan [i.e. Shippegan], New Brunswick. Married Susannah Kinney Sep 20 1870 in New Brunswick. [NOTE: no headstone found for her; probably remarried with unknown different last name]
