William H. Brown, 63, of 444 East Enon Road, Yellow Springs, Ohio, died Thursday, May 4, 1989 at 6:22 a.m. in Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 21, 1926 in Yellow Springs the son of Howard C. and Mary (METZNER) BROWN. He was a retired self-employed landscaper and was a member of various horsemen and breeding associations. He is survived by his wife, Elaine (BAHNSEN) BROWN; three sons, Larry BROWN of Xenia, Christopher BROWN of Springfield, and Curtis BROWN of Yellow Springs; one daughter, Jacquelynn BROWN of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren; two brothers, Robert and Philip BROWN, both of Wilmington, North Carolina; a sister, Virginia BURT of Napoleonville, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Jackson, Lytle & Coffman Funeral Home, Yellow Springs officiated by Rev. Jacqueline Brovold with interment in Glen Forest Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Yellow Springs Tree Foundation.
