Philip Howard Brown, of Wilmington died Friday, October 27, 2006, at his residence. He was born February 4, 1925 in Yellow Springs, Ohio, son of the late Howard C. Brown and Mary A. Metzner.
Philip was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Wilmington. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1987 he came to Wilmington to retire.
Phil was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to his wife of 61 years Roselyn Brown, his daughters Kathie Cochran and Linda (Jennie) Brown, granddaughters Wendy Martin and Megan Gue and great grandson Dalton Betson. He is also survived by his brother Robert E. Brown and many nephews and nieces.
