In 1880 at age 7 Marshall is with his father in Platte, Polk, Nebraska.

He registered for the WWI draft in 1918 while living in Robinsdale, RFD R1, Minnesota.

In 1930 he was a laborer on the farm of Leeds Cutter, an attorney/probate judge, in Anoka, Minnesota. He apparently remained on this farm until the death of Judge Cutter in 1942.

He registered for the WWII draft in 1942 while living in Anoka, R#4, Minnesota.

Marshall never married.
