AUGUST CISKEY, MELROSE PIONEER, DIED MONDAY
August Ciskey, 78, died Monday afternoon at his home two miles north of Melrose where he had lived for 63 years. He was born in Germany and came to this country when a boy, making his home ever since in Monroe county.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, Martin, Michael and John, at home, and William of Chariton, three grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. A. Scieszinski.
Funeral services were held at Melrose at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Rev. Father Brown had charge of the funeral. Interment was in the Calvary cemetery, Melrose.
