Annie Laura Barbee "Ma" Pierce, 76, of Savannah, died Sunday, October 20, at her residence under Hospice Care.
She was born in Savannah and had lived here her entire life. She was a homemaker and avid bingo player. She was a former member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Winton Wahl Pierce and a son, Joseph S. Pierce.
Survivors: three sons, Allen L. Pierce, Cecil W. Pierce, and Rusty Pierce, all of Savannah; two brothers, Freddie A. Barbee of Universal City, TX, and J. Henry Barbee of Savannah; three sisters, Vivian B. Bedgood of Savannah, Evelyn B. Tuten of Guyton, and Vergie B. Mell of Savannah; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 2:00-3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
Graveside Services: 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at The Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
