Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - Monday, September 18, 2000 Deceased Name: Dorothy Eva Vredenburg A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, in Life Fellowship Church, 7510 N. Chatauqua Blvd., Portland for Dorothy Eva Vredenburg, who died Sept. 16 at age 87.
Miss Vredenburg was born Sept. 29, 1912, in Yamhill and moved to Portland as a child. She was an administrative assistant to the business manager for the Stationary Engineers Labor Union Local 701 until her retirement in 1977. She was a member of Life Fellowship Church, formerly the Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Survivors include her brother, Harold M.; and nieces, Sandra Snow, Darlene White, Dawn Vredenburg, Gale Stovern and Crystal Sutton.
Private interment will be in Belle Passi Cemetery in Woodburn. The family suggests remembrances to Willamette Falls Hospice. Arrangements are by St. Johns Little Chapel of the Chimes.
