She married Birl Clemons Partain on July 17, 1910 in Fannin County, Texas and to their union four children were born. Their children are Lucy Ada, Samie Odell, Maggie Lorene, and Margaret Annie Partain. She died on June 6, 1971 at the All Saints Hospital, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas of acute pancreatitis with small bowel obstruction.
