Adeen Porter Holliman age 90 was called Home by her Lord and Savior on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at her residence in Columbus. She was a loving Christian mother, who loved her children, grandchildren, her church family, and her friends.

Services will be held Friday, July 08, 2011 at 2:00 PM at New Covenant Baptist Church (Hwy 50 East) with Rev. Jimmy Ray, Rev. Randy Weeks, and, Rev. Andy Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Thursday, July 07, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM

Mrs. Holliman was born on Wednesday, November 24, 1920 to the late Eulie and Lillian Moore Porter. She was a member of McBee Baptist Church for 47 years and at the time of her death was the oldest member. She was a 1937 graduate of New Hope High School, and was a retired employee of United Technologies after 32 years of service. She loved her music, and was a talented musician having won the state fiddling contest at the age of 16. Her greatest contribution to life was serving others and her Lord. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl "Judge" Holliman, daughter, Kathy Holliman Lawrence, her infant son, Bobby Lynn Holliman, and her grandsons, Johnny Lawrence and Todd Lawrence.

Survivors include: Five Daughters: Martha Moore (William), Columbus, MS Jelois Weeks, Columbus, MS Janiece Moore (Kenneth), Columbus, MS Bo Davis (William), Columbus, MS Rita White (Tim), Columbus, MS One Son: John Holliman (Geraline), Columbus, MS

Grandchildren: Randy Weeks, Greg Moore, Tina Younger, Teresa Stapp, Keith Moore, Sonia Chastang, Christi Franks, Tonya Moore, John Brody White, Britney Sansing, Brynn Upton; 22 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

The Pallbearers will be: John Brody White, Greg Moore, Keith Moore, Lee Younger, Eddie Barton, Wade Stapp, Chris Chastang, Mike Franks, Josh Sansing, Carey Upton, and Steve Younger.

The Honorary Pallbearers will be: Men and Youth Group of McBee Baptist Church, Doug Lawrence, Chris Sansing, Clyde Sansing, Brock Sansing, Gene Hoppers, Mark Hoppers, Danny Price, Bobby Ray, Dale Brewer, and Lee Ray

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: McBee Baptist Church Building Fund 2846 Highway 50 East Columbus MS 39702
