Mrs. Rowan was born June 24, 1923 in Haralson County Georgia the daughter of the late Grant Eaves and Lila Ford Eaves. She was a Homemaker and attended Piney Woods Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Rowan Sr., daughters, Helen Bailey, Villa Rica, Mildred Hancock, Bremen, Samantha Sisson, Dallas, son., Paul Rowan, Jr Villa Rica., sister, Nancy Adams, Temple, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 11 A.M. from Piney Woods Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. David McKenzie officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 until 8 P.M.
Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery with Jeremy Hollander, Tommy Sisson, Gary Hancock, Ryan Butler, Chris Giddion, Robert Ward. serving as pallbearers.
