Victoria Shirley
set for Tomorrow
Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Shirley, 81, wife of the late James Shirley, who died at Hopkinsville at 3 a.m. Sunday, will be held at the home of a brother, C. W. Ard, here tomorrow at 10 a.m., the Rev. J.W. Barton officiating. Burial will be in the Boyd Cemetery.
Mrs. Shirley was born and reared in Slick Rock community, the daughter of the late Cyrenus Ard. She was a member of the Dripping Springs Baptist Church.
Besides her brother here, she is survived by four other brothers, James Ard of Adairville, Frank and Marvin Ard of Magnolla and Marcus Ard of Horse Cave, and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Maples of Connersville, Indiana.
