Lucy Irene Griffin, 89, of 205 East Kings Highway, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2001, at Morehead Nursing Center.
The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
A native of Stokes County, she was a member of Spray Primitive Baptist Church.
She was a retired spinner for Morehead Cotton Mills.
Survivors are her sisters, Lena Patterson of the home, Effie Allen of Eden, Marion Walker of Lebennon, N.J., Mary Mangrum of Eden, Dorene Griffin of Mayodan; brother, William Griffin of the home; nephew, Tommy Griffin of Eden; nieces, Susan Vernon of Mayodan, Barbara Cook of Jesup, Md., Kathy Graves of Eden, Karen Tuggle of Mayodan, Patricia Kerulis of Sunrise, Fla., Vickie Jacobs of League City, Texas and June Coe of Eden.
