EDEN -- Dorene Griffin, 79, of 206 W. Adams Street, Mayodan, N.C., and formerly of 528 Church Street, Eden, N.C., passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mayodan Municipal Cemetery.
Dorene was born July 4, 1928, in Eden, N.C., to the late George Washington Griffin and Lessie Campbell Griffin. She was retired from Spray Cotton Mills after 47 years of service and she was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Eden.
