Mrs. Jane Baker, 74, died Monday at a Convalescent Home in Stilwell, Okla; She had been in ill health for a long time.

She was born March 17, 1887 in Madison County, the daughter of George Gentry and Tennessee Bivens Gentry, and was a former resident of the Fleming Creek community near St. Paul. She was married to Jake Baker who died several years ago.

Survivors include seven sons, George and Howard Baker of Tulsa, Okla., Herschel Baker of Dutch Mills, Ark., Oscar Baker of Becksville, Texas, Wade Baker of Portland, Oregon, Otis Baker of Oklahoma City, and Clint Baker of Stilwell, Okla; her mother, Mrs. Tennessee Brashears of St. Paul; one sister, Mrs. Maud Brashears of Route 1, Combs; (Brashears Junction) two brothers, Alf Gentry of Middletown, Ohio, and Bill Gentry of Prosser, Wash.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in St. Paul Thursday (today) at 1 p.m. with Deaconess Mary Chaffin conducting. Burial will be in the Brashears cemetery under the direction of Brashears. Funeral Home.
