Funeral services for Mrs. M. C. Whiteside, 87, were held at the Mooreville Methodist Church on March 17, 1946. Mrs. Whiteside died early Saturday morning (March 16) at her home near Shannon. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the Mooreville Methodist Church. Pegues were in charge.

Survivors included five daughters, Mrs. R. M. Griffin of Belden, Mrs. A. B. McCollough of Verona, Mrs. D. M. Taylor of Verona, Mrs. C. C. Smith of Mooreville, and Mrs. L. C. Lawhon of Fulton; two sons, J. L. Whitesides of Murray, Ky., and A. L. Whitesides of Shannon.
