COALVILLE: Martha Allen Arnold, 78, widow of Orson B. Arnold, died at her home here Wednesday afternoon of complications resulting from a fractured hip suffered in a fall several weeks ago.
Mrs. Arnold was born in Lester, England, December 5, 1858 a daughter of Christopher and Elizabeth Elliot Allen and came to Utah several years later.
Following her marriage to Mr. Arnold in the old L.D.S. endowment house in Salt Lake City, she moved to Bountiful. With her husband she fulfilled a mission for the L.D.S. church to St. John's Ariz. She had resided in Coalville many years.
Surviving are a son, William H. Arnold; three daughters; Mrs. Ethelyn A Brown, Mrs. Ruby A. Williams and Mrs. Florella A. Faddies, all of Coalville.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the summit L.D.S. stake tabernacle under the direction of the Coalville ward bishopric.
Burial will take place in the Coalville Cemetery.
