A native New Mexican, Larry spent 22 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in Albuquerque, NM.
Larry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judy, his children, Jennifer Padilla and Shaun Durán, grandchildren, Aaron and Zachary Padilla, siblings, Sandy Herrera, Jerry Durán and his wife, Maureen and Kevin Durán and his wife, Wendi and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Lucy Durán and brother, Buddy Durán.
Larry was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Larry will be greatly missed.
Friends may visit one hour prior to rosary. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge NE, Albuquerque, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at John XXIII Catholic Community. Interment will be at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at 2:30 p.m.
