Shelbyville — Mrs.Frank W. (Ersel M. Banning) Hayden, 77, of Shelbyville died 8 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 15, 1983) in Shelby Memorial Hospital, Shelbyville.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Lockart & Sons Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville; Memorials: Westervelt Community Church or Lions' Community Center Building, Shelbyville.

Mrs. Hayden was born in Cowden, daughter of Charles and Arloia Banning. She was a member of Westervelt Christian Church. She married Frank W. Hayden in 1928.

Surviving are her husband; sons, Robert and Gene, both of Shelbyville; Carl, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Richard of Moweaqua; daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Shirley) Stitt and Mrs. Harry (Nancy) Hudson, both of Shelbyville; brother, Forrest Banning of Cowden; sister, Bertha Higgins of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded her in death.
