Mrs. T.D. Kicklighter Died last Friday After A Long Illness


Survivors are her husband, T.D. Kicklighter of Glennville; a daughter, Mrs. Nethera Smith of Glennville; four sons, Taft Kicklighter of Bacliff, Texas, Freddie Kicklighter of Charleston, S.C. and S.C. and Perry Kicklighter of Glennville; a foster son, Orley Knight of Jacksonville, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Henry Daughtry of Glennville; a half sister, Mrs. Norma Stubbs of Savannah, a step sister, Mrs. Zena Kicklighter of Crescent; a brother, Jesse Downs of Ludowici and a step brother, Willie Courson of Elizabethtown, N.C.

Funeral services were held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Elder P.O. Revels, Jr., and Rev. Jack Hudson. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were W.H. Daughtry, Willie Milton, Steve Daughtry, P.m. Odom, Wilford Kicklighter and O.C. Floyd.

Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge.
