He was a native of Everett, MA; born on January 13, 1927 to parents Alexander Bernardini and Lena (Tognert) Savarino. He served his country in WWII in the Navy. He had lived in the Orange area since 1948 and retired from US Steel after 40 years as a boilermaker. He was a member of First Church of Orange and he never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Bernardini; mother, Lena Savarino; step father, George Savarino; sisters, Lenora Fermano, Beatrice Barret.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 10 am at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange, Texas.
