Mrs. Matheney died Sunday
Mrs Annie Purser Matheney 89, of Savannah Hwy, Florence, died at 11:10 p.m. Sunday at El Resposo Sanitarium after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Matheney was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale Co.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from Wesley Chapel.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Surviving are 3 sons, Allen Matheney of Florence Rt 4, Aubra and Marion Matheny of South Bend, Ind.; 2 daughters Mrs. L.L. Carroll of Rt 6, Florence and Mr.s Charlie Anderson of Lutts Tenn.,
23 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will be the active bearers.
