Adrian C Baas, 79, 6100 32nd Ave., died at Kenosha Hospital, Saturday afternoon following a long illness. He was born in the Netherlands, September 18, 1880, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Baas Sr. He spent his youth and received his education in his native land and was united in marriage to Miss Jacoba Walraven, Feb. 13, 1902. Baas came to the United States and Kenosha in 1910 where he made his permanent home. He was a member of Wesley Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son John, in 1936. He is survived by his wife, six sons, Neil, Abe, Leonard, and Donald, all of Kenosha. Clarence, Santa Ana, California, and Capt. Edward Baas, stationed with the U.S. Army in Arlington, VA., and one daughter, Mrs. Albert Ehlers, Kenosha. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
