MIRA LOMA RAY E. CARR 9/20/42 ~ 3/02/10 Ray passed away at the VA Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Retha Carr and brothers, Allen and Bobby. He is survived by wife, Suzanne; brother, Roger Carr; sisters, Patt Beard, Linda Sells and Mary Dumas; sons, Jody and Carl; daughters, Jessica Kirkman and Andrea Carr; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; step-children, Melissa Hanes, James Regnier and 3 step-grandchildren. Ray proudly served with the U.S. Marines, where he received a Purple Heart after being severely wounded in the Battle for Chu Lai, Vietnam. Ray was a Lifetime Member of the American Legion Post 500, the VFW and DVA. Graveside Services Riverside National Cemetery, 3/11/10 at 10:30am.
