Mrs. Flory was born June 3, 1923, in Keezletown , and was the daughter of the late Amos and Mitti Chapman Heatwole.
She lived in Florida for 10 years and spent the rest of her life in this area. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World and Garber's Church of the Brethren, where she served in the Women's Fellowship, church choir, Acorn class and was a Sunday school teacher. She was employed at the Stehli Silk Mill and Carl's Pastry. She retired in 1975 from Sancar, where she was a quality control inspector.
On Dec. 31, 1945, she married Vernon Driver Flory, who survives. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Flory was the last surviving member of her family.
Pastor Walt Crull and the Revs. Clarence Moyers and Dee Flory will conduct a celebration of life service 11 a.m. Friday at Garber's Church of the Brethren. A family burial will be earlier in the day at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Bridgewater.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. Friends may also call at the Flory home at any time.
